Pays d'Oc Design Home Staging Portfolio These days most house hunters first scan the Internet extensively before deciding which properties to view. Good photos are therefore more important than ever and Pays d'Oc Design strongly recommend that you stage your home BEFORE the estate agent(s) come to assess and photograph your property. |

Before Home Staging
Before, this large room did not have a clear identity and lacked atmosphere. The dated paintwork and prominent 1960s spiral staircase sent a message to house hunters that the house would need at least updating, and probably a lot of work.

After Home Staging

Staged, the space has become an elegant and bright dining room, inviting buyers in. Note how painting the ceiling beams and other woodwork has made the staircase recede and instead turns your attention to the lovely arched French doors.
Farmhouse Exterior Before
Farmhouse Exterior After
With so many overgrown bushes in the borders and vines on the house, buyers could not see what was being sold! This photo screams "neglected property."
A well-tended garden and exterior not only are more attractive and inviting, the subliminal message to buyers is that the whole property is taken care off, increasing its perceived value.

London Kitchen Before
London Kitchen After
The dated and cluttered kitchen in this Victorian family house in London did not appeal to the target market of City professionals with young children.
After Sophia redesigned and staged it the house sold the first day it was back on the market - and for GBP 90,000 more than any other similar house in the area had ever sold. A true staging succes story.
